Manado, the capital city of North Sulawesi province in Indonesia is also known as the City of Churches. The government of Manado City warmly welcomes choirs, choristers and choral conductors to participate in one of the most exciting and educating choral festival in Indonesia.

Choirs participating in Manado Cantat will have the opportunity to be adjudicated by internationally renowned choral conductors from the continents of North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in the Manado Cantat Choral Symposium happening immediately after the competition to gain insights to international trends in choral music programming, choral conducting, choir sound building, rehearsal techniques and much more.
