Jubilate, Festival of Choirs

Jubilate, Festival of Choirs was first introduced in 2004 as a workshop with choral clinicians from other countries to develop and gain higher choral standards. Instituted as a learning festival,  where renowned choral clinician like Jonathan Velasco, Arwin Tan, Avip Priatna, Christo Burger and Meng Da Peng amongst many others, offer invaluable wealth of knowledge to empowers conductors and open new ideas to choirs from their own expert experiences with their acclaimed choirs.

Each choir receives dedicated attention and training from different clinicians touching on a multitude of choral techniques and skills. Also providing many opportunities for performance, every choir will also have the chance to perform in various concerts: Opening Concert, Friendship Concert and Choral Presentation Concert during the festival, affording the choristers an opportunity to discover and learn new and exciting choral music from around the world through the concerts and share the joy of singing. Jubilate was also the very first choral festival to include the component of Choral Assessment by the London College of Music in 2012.

With all these musical activities, we hope all choirs, choristers and conductors will be able to attain a higher level of choral proficiency through days of intensive learning and singing.
