Beginnings
First oganized in 2012, Asia Cantate is a competition based festival that highlights the growing Asian choral phenomenon. Seen as a counterpart to A Voyage Of Songs, we recognise the importance of preserving and continuing the strong tradition of Asian choral music. With the special prize of Voices of Asia, an award given to the choir with the best performed piece of Asian choral music, Asia Cantate hopes to promote and enhance the stature of both traditional and contemporary Asian choral music to the international community.
Asia Cantate 2016 will be held in Hong Kong from the 27th to 30th of November.
